About Me

The man behind the recipe......First I like wine........and when My Aunt Pearl gave me a drink of her and my Aunt Josey home made wine, I was impressed to say the least.......I kept wanting more and more until They cut me off, because I was taking away from there stock......so I was force into making  and my Aunt Pearl told me the story of how her sister was saving one bottle from each years batch to open at her daughter wedding....so I stole her idea for my family too.....my own...wine production started in about  1985 and  with two wifes down I moved 3 thousands miles away...I miss a few years but ...I am still making and enjoying sharing my wine with friends, and everyone wants to know how to make it or whats in it........in 1995 I was married for the last time to a great lady who shares my birthday and my love for wine.

Passion for life through wine making was first discovered by me at BullyHill Winery in Hammondsport it the heart of NY State wire making from a man I only ment for a few mintues but felt like I new a life time. Walter S. Taylor was the last of the real orginial Taylor wine family that lost his name to corporte greed. Go visit the winery to get the story..... but I was lucky to have know a great man

My Life

I begged and begged and finely after a couple of years I got my aunt a little tippy and she gave me the recipe, handed down from and old Italian man right from Italy by the way through Amsterdam New York.....Lots of Italians settled their in the early 1900's but you can guess who took over the city after Kirk Douglus left for Hollywood.

You can make a gallon, 5 gallon or 10 gallons (Only 10 gallons a year without government intervention) My aunts used to make 5 gallons but I perfer 10 because you are surpose to let it age a year befor you drink it....

Here is a picture of the wine....
